Trading foreign exchange, CFDs and crypto-assets on margin carries a high level of risk and may not be suitable for every investor. Leverage can work against you as well as for you. Expert Advisors and other automated tools do not remove market risk: they can lose money, behave unexpectedly in unusual conditions, and are affected by broker, connection and server issues. Past or simulated performance does not guarantee future results. Never trade with money you cannot afford to lose, and seek independent advice if you are unsure.
Forex, CFDs and crypto-assets are usually traded with leverage. A small price move can produce a large loss, and you can lose more than you expected — in some cases your whole deposit.
An Expert Advisor executes the rules it was given. It cannot judge whether those rules still suit the market, and it can keep trading through conditions it was never designed for.
Results also depend on things outside the EA: broker execution and spreads, slippage, price-feed errors, internet or VPS outages, and the settings you choose.
Backtests and demo results are simulations. They do not include every real-world cost or condition, and past performance — real or simulated — does not guarantee future results.
Only trade with money you can afford to lose. Test every tool on a demo account first, start small, keep risk limits switched on, and monitor your account regularly.
If you are unsure whether trading is right for you, seek advice from an independent, licensed financial adviser.
